Zep Heavy-Duty TKO Industrial Hand Cleaner 1 Gallon Refill — Lanolin-Conditioning, Lemon-Lime Scent

Zep Heavy-Duty TKO Hand Cleaner (1 gallon refill, R54824) is an industrial-strength hand wash that removes grease, oil and grime while conditioning skin with lanolin and leaving a lemon-lime scent.

This 1-gallon refill jug is designed for busy shops, garages and service bays where powerful soil removal is essential. The concentrated heavy-duty formula tackles embedded grease and mechanical grime but is formulated to be gentler than harsh solvents, helping prevent excessive drying. It's a refill-only size (no pump included), so it pairs well with wall dispensers or countertop pumps for frequent use.

How effective is this cleaner at cutting grease and automotive grime?

Zep TKO uses surfactants and degreasing agents engineered for industrial soils, lifting oil, grease and hydraulic fluids from skin more quickly than regular soaps. Repeated use removes stubborn residues that ordinary hand soaps leave behind, reducing the need for scrubbing with abrasives.

• Formulated for heavy soils like motor oil, grease and ink
• Works without aggressive solvents that can strip skin oils
• Reduces time spent scrubbing compared with standard dish or bath soaps
• Comes in a bulk refill jug to supply high-traffic environments

Will this product dry out my skin if I use it every day?

Unlike solvent-based cleaners, Zep Heavy-Duty TKO contains lanolin and skin-conditioning ingredients to help preserve skin softness after washing. While heavy soils still require thorough washing, the formula is balanced to clean effectively while minimizing tightness and cracking that harsh cleaners can cause.

• Enriched with lanolin to moisturize and soothe hands
• Gentler surfactant system compared to solvent cleaners
• Lemon-lime scent helps mask industrial odors without overpowering

How should I store and use the 1-gallon refill in a workshop?

This jug is intended as a refill supply — transfer into a compatible pump dispenser or wall mount for easy access. Keep the container tightly closed, stored upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to maintain product stability.

• Refill compatible pumps or dispensers; jug has standard industrial opening
• Store upright, away from heat and open flames
• Use with gloves and eye protection when handling concentrated volumes
• Dispose of empty containers per local regulations

What scent and finish should users expect after washing?

The cleaner leaves a light lemon-lime fragrance that helps neutralize shop odors without lingering strongly on tools or fabric. After rinsing, hands feel cleaner and conditioned rather than chalky, thanks to the lanolin-enriched formulation.

• Light lemon-lime aroma for a refreshed feel
• Rinses clean with minimal residue
• Leaves hands feeling softer than traditional solvent washes
