MAST TATTOO Pro2 1003RL Tattoo Needle Cartridges — 3RL Round Liner, 304L Stainless, Anti-Wobble

Mast Tattoo Pro2 1003RL cartridges are precision-engineered round liner needle cartridges designed to deliver consistent, crisp linework and predictable ink flow for professional tattoo applications.

These Pro2 1003RL cartridges from MAST TATTOO are built for artists who need dependable performance across sessions. Manufactured with high-grade 304L stainless steel needles and an upgraded cartridge housing, they combine tight tolerances, an anti-wobble plunger and a full membrane barrier to protect machines and improve workflow. The 1003RL configuration (three tightly grouped round liners) is ideal when you want defined lines, controlled dotwork and stable ink deposit.

How do these cartridges keep lines consistent?

The Pro2 cartridges use machine-ground 304L stainless steel needles with automated sharpening so each tip follows a uniform taper. Groupings are aligned to very tight tolerances, which reduces lateral play and produces repeatable results from stroke to stroke. The stabilized plunger further limits wobble, keeping needle motion straight and steady.

• 304L stainless steel needles with automated tapering
• Group alignment tolerance of ±0.02 mm
• Anti-wobble plunger design for steady motion
• Consistent needle geometry for predictable ink bite

Will these cartridges work with my rotary pen machine?

MAST Pro2 cartridges are made for broad compatibility with standard rotary pen-style machines. They have been validated with Mast and Dragonhawk machines and will fit most other rotary systems that accept standard cartridge plugs. This universality simplifies buying and stocking multiple machine brands in a studio.

• Standard-fit cartridge connection for most rotary pens
• Tested compatibility with Mast and Dragonhawk systems
• One cartridge type covers different machine brands
• Individually packed for easy, sterile handling

How does the Pro2 design protect my equipment and workspace?

Each cartridge includes a full membrane barrier that prevents ink backflow into grips and tubes, helping maintain a cleaner setup and protecting machine internals. The integrated plunger membrane creates a secure seal that remains effective through long sessions, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and device fouling. The nozzle profile also limits ink turbulence for cleaner operation.

• Full membrane barrier to block ink backflow
• Plunger membrane creates a tight, consistent seal
• Nozzle engineered to minimize ink turbulence
• Cleaner grips and reduced maintenance downtime

Which techniques and styles suit the 1003RL configuration?

The 1003RL (three-round-liner) is tailored to tasks that require fine, controlled linework and compact shading—think tight script, precision outlines, and stippling. Its tight grouping provides a dense ink deposit for darker, sharper lines without excessive trauma. Artists who alternate between lining and small-scale detailing will find this size versatile and reliable.

• Sharp outlines and detailed script work
• Controlled dotwork and compact stippling
• Reliable for small area packing and touch-ups
• Maintains edge definition on repeated passes

Who is this for: The Mast Tattoo Pro2 1003RL cartridges are aimed at professional tattoo artists and serious apprentices who prioritize consistent line quality, machine protection and broad compatibility. They suit busy studio environments where reliable performance, sterile handling and interchangeability across rotary pens reduce setup complexity and improve session flow.
