Dragonhawk Tattoo Cartridge Needles #12 — 50pcs Mixed 3RL–11RL, Clear Shell & Anti-Backflow

Dragonhawk #12 50Pcs Tattoo Cartridge Needles are a mixed pack of five round-liner sizes (3RL–11RL) in a standard cartridge shell designed for precise lining, lettering, and bold outlines.

This refill pack gives professional tattoo artists a ready selection of #12-diameter round liners in a single box. With ten cartridges of each size (1203RL, 1205RL, 1207RL, 1209RL, 1211RL) the set covers fine controlled strokes through heavier bold lines without switching needle diameters or cartridge standards. The cartridges use a clear housing and internal membrane to reduce backflow while letting you monitor ink movement as you work.

How do these cartridges improve everyday lining and lettering?

The balanced #12 needle diameter offers a versatile line range so artists can handle tight lettering and crisp outlines without swapping to single-needle configurations. The set includes smaller and larger round liners so you can choose the right visual weight for detail or emphasis.

• 3RL and 5RL for small outlines and precise lettering.
• 7RL, 9RL, 11RL for traditional bold outlines and high-contrast strokes.
• Standard cartridge fit speeds up swaps between machines and grips.

What features help prevent ink backflow and keep pigment delivery steady?

Each cartridge has an internal membrane that acts as a barrier to reduce fluid moving back into the grip and machine. The clear shell gives visible ink flow so you can see when to dip or adjust speed, which helps maintain even line saturation during longer sessions.

• Built-in membrane reduces risk of ink reaching the machine grip.
• Transparent cartridge housing for monitoring ink movement.
• Centered plunger supports consistent pigment flow and pressure control.

Will these cartridges fit my machine and how are sizes identified?

Dragonhawk designed this set to work with most universal cartridge-compatible rotary machines, pen-style wireless systems, and interchangeable grips. Each cartridge is marked with its size for quick selection so you can swap between lineweights with minimal interruption.

• Standard cartridge housing fits common cartridge-ready machines.
• Clearly labeled sizes (1203RL–1211RL) for fast identification.
• Centered plunger and universal connector for broad compatibility.

Which projects are best suited to each needle size in the pack?

Smaller diameters (3RL, 5RL) excel for fine script, tight details, and delicate inner-line work. Mid-range (7RL) balances precision and boldness for classic outlines, while 9RL and 11RL deliver wider strokes for strong borders, traditional-style tattoos, and high-contrast designs.

• 3RL — micro outlines, small lettering, intricate details.
• 5RL — general-purpose outlines, medium lettering.
• 7RL — bolder outlines, traditional linework.
• 9RL/11RL — heavy borders, high-contrast edges, old-school style.
