Wormhole Tattoo 50pc Mixed Tattoo Cartridges — Long Taper Needles (5RL–21RM), Anti-Backflow, Sterile

Wormhole Tattoo 50-piece mixed cartridge set: a sealed, anti-backflow collection of long-taper stainless-steel needles for lining and shading across a wide range of tattoo work.

This mixed pack brings together multiple needle groupings—round liners, round shaders, magnums and round magnums—in one boxed kit. Each cartridge arrives individually wrapped with a protective membrane and a rubber anti-backflow band, and the translucent light-grey tubes help you see ink flow while working. The selection covers small fine lines to larger color-packing and soft shading, making it an adaptable kit for artists who want a broad toolkit without buying individual cartridges.

What needle types are included and what are they best used for?

The set includes a balanced mix of liners (RL), shaders (RS), magnums (M), round magnums (RM) and larger configuration magnums—covering sizes commonly used for both detailed linework and area fills. Liners are for crisp outlines, shaders for small areas and gradients, while magnums handle color packing and broader shading.

• Round liners (5RL, 7RL, 9RL) — precise outline and fine detail work
• Round shaders (5RS, 7RS, 9RS) — soft fills, dotwork, gradients
• Magnums (15M1, 21M1) — efficient color packing and smooth shading
• Round magnums (15RM, 21RM) — blended shading with softer edge control

How does the anti-backflow system protect my equipment?

Each cartridge features a tight rubber band seal plus a thin plastic membrane at the hub to block ink and fluid from traveling back into the machine. This reduces contamination risk and makes cleanup easier by keeping fluids contained inside the cartridge area rather than moving into the grip or motor housing.

• Rubber seal prevents negative pressure from drawing ink back
• Plastic membrane creates a barrier between needle and tube internals
• Individually sealed packaging keeps cartridges sterile until use

Are these cartridges compatible with my tattoo machine?

The cartridges use a universal-style hub and a standard long-taper needle design that fits most modern rotary and coil machines accepting snap-in cartridges. The light-grey, semi-transparent tubes are designed for better visibility so you can monitor ink flow without compromising compatibility.

• Standard snap-in hub fits most cartridge-ready machines
• Long-taper needles for predictable penetration and control
• Clear tube visibility helps manage ink supply during sessions

How are the cartridges packaged and what materials are used?

Fifty cartridges come in a mixed-size assortment, each individually sealed in sterile packaging ready for professional or studio use. The needles are stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance, combined with medical-grade PVC tubing to provide durability and a secure fit.

• 50 individually wrapped cartridges for hygiene and convenience
• Stainless steel needles for consistent performance and longevity
• PVC tubes that balance flexibility and durability

Who is this for: This Wormhole Tattoo mixed cartridge set suits freelance artists, apprentices building a starter kit, and busy studios that need a variety of needle configurations on hand. It’s particularly useful for practitioners who want a single, sterilized pack covering fine lining, mid-sized shading, and larger magnum work without ordering multiple single-size boxes.
