The PMNCD LS-D30 is a cordless low-level laser therapy helmet with 162 diodes (650–660nm) designed to support hair regrowth for eligible androgenetic alopecia patients.
Engineered as a hands-free home device, the LS-D30 delivers consistent red light across the scalp in short, quiet sessions. It’s battery-powered for cordless use, meets IEC safety standards, and arrives in protective packaging with a travel pouch. FDA clearance for androgenetic alopecia and SGS clinical testing provide regulatory and lab-based verification of device performance for indicated users.
The helmet uses 162 low-power laser diodes tuned to 650–660nm to provide uniform coverage across the entire head. The outer shell holds the lasers while a protective inner liner separates them from direct contact, maintaining consistent spacing and intensity during each session.
Operation is one-button and fully automatic: press to start a 20-minute cycle, and the helmet pauses if you shift and resumes when you settle. Each session ends with a gentle audible tone, and the onboard polymer lithium battery supports multiple sessions per charge for convenient cordless use.
The LS-D30 is FDA cleared for use in male and female androgenetic alopecia within specified classifications and has undergone SGS clinical testing. The battery and electrical safety conform to IEC 62133-2 standards, and the device is designed for Fitzpatrick skin phototypes I–IV as indicated.
The helmet is intended for regular, consistent use according to labeling to support visible changes over time. Since it’s a non-invasive, at-home therapy, it pairs well with a clinician-recommended plan and does not require topical agents to operate.
Who is this for: The PMNCD LS-D30 is aimed at adults with androgenetic alopecia who meet the device’s labeled classifications (males Hamilton-Norwood IIa–V; females Ludwig-Savin I–II) and Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV. It’s suitable for people seeking a non-pharmaceutical, at-home low-level laser therapy option that is easy to use, portable, and designed for quiet, hands-free sessions. Those with other scalp conditions, different skin phototypes, or who fall outside the labeled classifications should consult a healthcare professional before use.
Q: Is the LS-D30 FDA cleared?
A: Yes. The LS-D30 is FDA cleared for use in specified male and female androgenetic alopecia classifications.
Q: How long is each treatment session?
A: Each automatic session runs 20 minutes, with the rechargeable battery providing up to about 80 minutes total per charge.
